Ace Therapeutics provides trustworthy in silico, in vitro, and in vivo drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) consulting and testing services to facilitate the development of H. pylori drugs. We perform physicochemical profiling of H. pylori drugs and we mainly provide basic ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion) analysis and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) analysis for H. pylori small molecule drugs.
Physicochemical profiling
The analysis of physicochemical properties of drugs can assist in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies. We offer a variety of important physicochemical property testing services for H. pylori drugs to support the design of ADMET experiments, including solubility, chemical stability, permeability, and lipophilicity assays, and provide recommendations for lead optimization phases. In addition, our chemistry experts, in conjunction with computer experts, have designed a corresponding physicochemical property examination platform that allows rapid prediction of the physicochemical properties of drugs.
Absorption
Most H. pylori drugs are administered orally. We offer in vitro permeability and transport assays for H. pylori drugs, including Caco-2 permeability assay, MDCK/MDR1-MDCK permeability assay, and parallel artificial membrane permeability assay (PAMPA). If specific transporter studies are required for H. pylori drugs, we offer transporter studies of P-gp, MRPs, BSEP, ABC, SLC, PEPTs, OATs, and OCTs.
Distribution
Drug distribution affects the efficacy and safety of the drug. We offer in vivo and in vitro distribution assays for H. pylori drugs. We offer in vivo tissue drug distribution assays using rodents. For in vitro assays, we perform general plasma protein binding assays, blood plasma partitioning assays, and brain tissue binding assays. Further, we offer to perform gastric epithelial cell binding assays and H. pylori binding assays to better determine the potential for drug treatment of H. pylori.
Metabolism
We mainly offer gastric, hepatic, and intestinal metabolism stability analyses of H. pylori drugs. For hepatic metabolism, we provide metabolic stability analysis of human liver microsomes (using kits) and hepatocytes. For hepatic and intestinal metabolism, we study metabolism using subcellular fractions. Additionally, we can also provide metabolite identification services.
Excretion
For excretion analysis, we use NMR and UPLC-MS instruments for excretion assays.
Pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) analysis
PK/PD studies are an important reference for clinical studies of drugs. Ace Therapeutics offers comprehensive PK/PD studies of H. pylori drugs in rodents. We can complete comprehensive planning of the experiment and provide to use drug exposure-response and a range of relevant biomarkers for testing. Our reported data include raw data, calculated results, and summary tables with calculated parameters for easy verification and analysis by our clients.
Our advantages in the H. pylori drug DMPK studies
Fast articulation
Our DMPK assay is directly interfaced with the hit-to-lead and lead optimization services. Once drug molecules are synthesized, we perform the high throughput ADME screening assay. Seamless linkage reduces the time for H. pylori drug development.
Real-time data updates
For each test we perform, we upload data to a project database that our clients can access for real-time analysis and communication.
A comprehensive analysis by experts
When all projects are carried out, our DMPK experts will give a comprehensive and detailed DMPK analysis. Subsequently, the DMPK experts work together with other experts, such as chemists and H. pylori experts, to give drug development recommendations.
